Word of the Week: some (Please continue to practice: a, am, and, at, I, in, is, it, like, no, on, see, the, you). These words will be assessed when we return from Thanksgiving Break!
Spy and Rhyme Game: Looking for ways to entertain your kindergartner in the car or in the waiting room at the doctor's office? Why not play Spy and Rhyme?! It’s easy...This game is similar to “I Spy.” One person is “it.” “It” thinks of a word, then gives a clue by saying a word that it rhymes with. For example, “This is a word that rhymes with coat and it lives on a farm.” The other player will respond “Goat!” “This is a word that rhymes with moon and it is something you eat with.” The other player will respond “Spoon!” This game is a great way to help your child develop early reading skills.
Mitten Tree: In December, we will be setting up a Mitten Tree in the lobby. Items such as scarves, mittens, hats, and gloves, will be donated to Westerville Caring and Sharing. These items will be collected from December 2nd through December 20th.
