Word of the Week: we/me/he/she (Please continue to practice: the, on, no, see, to, in, I & a, and, like, at, it, you, can)
Public Speaking: We will have public speaking on Tuesday. In December we will spend a lot of time discussing wants and needs (especially relevant with the upcoming holidays!). Please help your child prepare a “wants vs needs” speech using the following format: “Hello my name is Anthony. Something I need is food to eat. Something I want is a Lego City Police Station. Thank you for listening.”
Homework: Please work with your child to complete the assignment sent home today: TWENTY BINGO. This assignment is due by Friday, December 7th. Thank you!
Go Math Workbooks at Home: We have completed Ch 6.1-6.5 this week. Please work on completing pages 109-118 as time permits. You do NOT need to return completed pages to school.
Indoor Fun: Looking for ways to entertain your child indoors this winter? Turn OFF the video games and televisions! Teach your child to play card games such as “Go Fish” or “War.” These games are great for numeral recognition and for comparing numbers. Board games also teach valuable skills. Kids love to play games with family members of all ages! Winter is a great time to play board games.
