Meet Ms. Petrozzi
Welcome to Fouse Kindergarten! My name is Maria Petrozzi and I am so excited to work with you and your child. It's going to be a year of FUN, learning, and lots of adventures! I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us.
I have been married to my husband, Sean, for 12 years.. We have two spunky boys, Anthony {4th grade at Alcott} and Dominic {kindergarten at Alcott}, and a little dog named Winston. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are practicing yoga at the Yoga Factory, crafts, and outdoor adventures.
I have lived in Westerville most of my life. I graduated from Westerville North High School in 1996, Ohio University {Early Childhood Education} in 2001 and Ashland University in 2004 {M.Ed Literacy}. I am the oldest of 3 children. My mother is a retired Westerville teacher and my father is the Perry Township Chief of Police. My two younger brothers also live in the Columbus area.
This is my fifteenth year teaching kindergarten at Fouse, and my first year teaching All Day Kindergarten. I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach one class of students ALL DAY LONG!! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I look forward to a GREAT year together!
